La Sérénité

La Sérénité is a stunning Haut de Cagnes, stone house with sea views from most rooms, air con in all bedrooms, a sunny seaview terrace and shaded stone courtyard.

Ground Level

Enter directly into a large sitting room-dining area located off the kitchen. Such a fabulous room with feeling of space and light shining in from both front and back of the house. The sitting room is positioned around a large seaview window with seating on the wide window sill. There is also a comfy sofa, coffee table, pouf and armchair with foot stool provided. A sweeping staircase descends into the sitting room from above.

A dining table is positioned in the middle of the space, beside a fireplace and there are plenty of cupboards. The room is painted in a soft grey with decorative details, such as rugs and original terracotta tiles. A fan is provided for warmer months.

The kitchen is well equipped with fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The tiles are in a colourful red, yellow and green. There is a glass door from the kitchen to a wonderful stone, high walled courtyard with wooden decking (23m2). It offers a shaded seating area with coffee table, a gas BBQ (Weber) and there is outdoor dining provided by a dining table seating 6. This does receive partial sun. A perfect place to relax when trying to avoid the hot summer sun! There is a palm tree, olive tree and cactus. The courtyard is secure and private from the street. It should be noted however that one of the neighbouring houses does have the right to a slither of the terrace, where they keep a BBQ. It is a second home for them and they do have a much larger, private terrace, so it is unlikely it would be much used.

The kitchen door to the terrace and seaview sitting room window offer a wonderful flow of air through the ground floor. There is an iron grill-door, which can be locked whilst allowing you to leave the kitchen door open.

First Floor

Arrive on a large landing with wooden floor, rug and storage space. On this level you will find 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.

Bedroom 1 has a 180cm bed, wardrobe, shelving, bedside lights, air con and window with seaview.

Bedroom 2  has a 180cm bed with lamps, mirror, shelving, hooks, bedside tables, rugs, air con and window with seaview. This room has a contemporary glass wall with iron framing and glass door leading to the landing. A curtain is provided for privacy. 

Both bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom with shower and w.c  has a window overlooking the courtyard below. A curved stairway leads to the top level.

Second Floor

Here you arrive directly in the huge, master bedroom with a large window opening onto a long terrace with sea view. A table and 2 chairs are provided if you wish to take the morning sun or a wonderful evening aperitif above the small, village street below. Enjoy the fabulous view towards the sea and mountains.The bedroom has morning sun.

This room is decorated in relaxing green with a king sized bed (180cm), the large window draws your attention. There is a wardrobe, cupboards, shelving, beside light, ceiling beams and air con. The ensuite bathroom is entered through an arched doorway and is in beige and white.  There is a large shower, double wash hand basin and view down to the terrace courtyard below.

La Sérénité (118m2) is a fabulous home for holiday rent suiting both families and friends, sleeping up to 6 people. The stone work and courtyard give it plenty of charm and all rooms are spacious  with sea views from most and air con provided in all bedrooms. There are approximately 10 steps up to the front door from street level and ivy climbs its beautiful walls. Located on a quiet, village street, approximately a 5 minute walk to the main Castle Square with all its restaurants and gorgeous sunset. You are also a 5 minute walk to the bus stop for the 44 free shuttle bus and less than a 10 minute walk into the town centre with all its commodities.
